COSLEY FARM ZOO, Located at 1356 N Gary Avenue in Wheaton

A Day At Cosley—Cosley Farm Zoo (Established in 1973) is a big selling point for people that are considering a move to Wheaton! I mean really, who has a public zoo in their town!? It’s high quality amenities like this that set Wheaton apart as a town. Other examples of the awesome features that this town provides are the many forest preserves, parks & play grounds, Arrowhead Golf Club, the Danada Horse Farm, our top-of-the-line library, two town pools, and the Wheaton Community Center to name a few.

Anyways… I went off on a tangent there…BACK TO COSLEY!

Me & Mia Zoo

Cosley has great exhibits  within it’s 5 acre foot-print that your family will love including enclosures for coyotes, owls, vultures, cows, llamas, goats, ducks, deer, raccoons, snakes, foxes, sheep, donkeys, bobcats, turtles AND MORE! There are over 50 different species and 125+ animals altogether!

There are so many events and ways to get involved here! Currently they’re doing their Festival of Lights & Tree sales that runs from 11/24/17-12/30/17! Another popular event & fundraiser they do is the Cosley Zoo 5K!

Kids love coming here to see the animals and enjoy the adorable gift shop! I came here as a child and am excited to take my daughter here as she enjoys growing up in Wheaton as I did.

Go check it out!

We noticed a sign as we were walking around describing an addition they’re going to add to the zoo and make room for bears, cougars, and other exciting animals!
