At Home In Wheaton was created for those that live in Wheaton & surrounding areas, and those that want to! I grew up in south Wheaton and think back on my childhood with fondness. Rice Pool, the Wheaton Park District, Seven Gables Park, the Popcorn Shop and many more noteable places around the community will forever be etched in my mind and have a special place in my heart.

For certain periods of time, other states and towns have been my “home”, but nothing has ever made me feel as “at home” as I do in Wheaton. After attending Wheaton Warrenville South High School, I went on to play soccer at Miami University, at which Oxford, Ohio became my home. I absolutely loved going to college there and the incredible friendships I made will last a lifetime. However, I did not see myself there forever. Upon graduation I followed my then boyfriend (now husband) to the east coast, where Yorktown Heights, New York became my next home. This is a very special time in my life and I accredit a lot of my experiences there with helping shape who I am now as a more “adult” adult. I taught seventh grade English Language Arts at a middle school in New Rochelle, NY, and it was the one of the hardest things I have ever done. It was an amazing growth experience for me. As time went on, and I reflected on myself, my career, my interests, and my vision of the future, we decided to move back to the place where I have always called my home, Wheaton.

I was thrilled to be back in my familiar happy place, and was filled with nostalgia as I drove past noteable places from my childhood. I got my real estate license in 2012 and joined my mom at Realty Executives Premiere. This was a turning point in my life, and I realized I have found a path that truly aligns with my interests, something that I can wake up in the morning and not feel like what I am doing is “work”.
